Soundscapes
I custom mix soundscapes on Ambient-Mixer. It's a free service (though consider tossing them a few coins for the work they do) where you can mix all sorts of sounds to create the perfect soundscape you need, whether to work to or for use on game nights.
Here's a list of the soundscapes I mixed and usually work to:
- Aboard the Scarlet Revenge - Seagulls, ship rigging, sailors going about their work & the occasional lively music
- Across the Universe - Sounds of a desolate space station
- A Darkened Forest at Night - Birds, frogs, insects, and a deep forest soundscape brings this to life
- A Murder of Crows - Dark ambient soundscape with angelic voices, crows cawing, the flapping of wings, and ominous undertones
- Arctic Forest - Wolves, wind, owls, snow, and crackling ice
- Camping in the Desert at Night - Nocturnal insects, a crackling campfire, and desert winds
- Cartographer's Study - A soothing soundscape I use often when working
- Cave at Night - Dripping water, bats, soft wind, and more make this suspenseful soundscape
- Deep Beneath the Waves - Deep ocean sounds with an eerie undertone
- Healing Forest Temple - Gregorian chanting mixed with angelic sounds, birds, water, & a light breeze
- Home of the Elves - Lothlorien elves singing quietly in the deep forest soundscape
- Kitchen of the Hedge Witch - Haunting sounds of a woman humming, the crackling of a fire, the mixing of potions, and a storm brewing in the distance
- Mace & Mead - A busy tavern soundscape filled with lively music
- Medieval Yuletide Music & Fire - Exactly what the title describes
- Moon God - Deep forest sounds of insects, owls, water, and a distant flute playing a lulling tune
- Pitch Harbor - Sounds of a busy seaside market
- Reading in the Study - Soft piano plays in the background of a crackling fire & soft cat purrs
- Roadside Meadow - The occasional passing horse-drawn buggy can be heard on this very peaceful woodland meadow soundscape filled with sweet bird calls and light breeze sounds
- Sleeping Town - Walking through a small town late at night with the sounds of crickets, footsteps, and the occasional cat or owl sound
- Sweetsprocket's Sweets & Treats - Gentle humming, sounds of baking, and light marketplace sounds in the background
- Teaflings Tea & Book Shoppe - A relaxing forest & lute soundscape that sounds like something you'd experience during a deep massage & aromatherapy
- The Wizard's Tower - Bubbling brews, crows, pages turning & dark ambient sounds
- Troupe of Bards - A wandering band of merry minstrels playing & dancing through the streets of a medieval town
- Victorian London at Night - My favorite for working on interiors for murder mysteries
- Viking Ritual - A drums-heavy soundscape perfect for prepping for battle or talking to the gods
- Woodland Forge - A blacksmith works at his forge surrounded by trees & a warm forest
I am not compensated to promote this in any way and am just sharing because it's fun.
